Ooo I love a Tunnock too! I haven’t been to Wentworth in a while, I should take a visit some time soon :)

Thank you - yeah it’s great at the moment in the village if you like your corvids. They doing some good work in the big house gardens. But the best part is the ponds through the garden centre with all the newts. You been in there?

It’s been a good couple of years since I’ve last visited, it’s definitely got to have changed since then. I didn’t know there were newts in the ponds!

Hi

I saw 3 Redwing and about 8 Fieldfare in Norfolk last week. Fairly sure these will be the last.

Brilliant that gives me the confidence they were probably redwing them. thanks

A lovely read! You have been busy :-) And so lucky to see a bank vole.

I think the last time I heard a winter thrush was at least a couple of weeks ago - when I heard a fieldfare.

Interesting Thank you for your response on the winter thrushes. Yes I very lucky to actually spot the bank vole, I hear them often but don’t scramble through the vegetation looking for them in case I frighten them.

I have signs of them (I think - some kind of vole at least) in my garden, lots of holes along the hedgerow. But I doubt I would ever get to see them, unless I can perform some magic with my wildlife camera!
